In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Puccini's birth, join Ron Della Chiesa and WGBH on a fabulous tour of the cradle of opera, Northern Italy. We'll be surrounded by masterpieces of Italian art as we enjoy wonderful meals at top restaurants and tastings of the local wines, cheeses, and proscuittos. And of course, our visit will be highlighted by opera, with performances at Florence's Teatro Communale and Milan's famed La Scala, with others to be announced shortly. Top it off with a special evening with everyone's favorite NPR correspondant Sylvia Poggioli—bellisimo!
 Throughout the tour, WGBH's Ron Della Chiesa will add his own insights into the world of opera with lectures and informal talks. You'll never experience opera the same way again. Join us!
